How to change your personal information in Hotmail

Personal information is very important. Because it is basis recover your account when it had a problem. You should provide full your information. You can change all information if you want, so don't worry. To change your personal information, you can follow a few steps below:

Change your username.

Step 1: Go to your Hotmail (Outlook) account.

Step 2: Click icon your profile and click Edit profile.

Step 3: Click Profile.

Step 4: You will go to your profile page. Click Edit next to your username.

Step 5: Enter the new First name and Last name. Then click Save.

Change Picture  

Step 1: Go to your Hotmail (Outlook) account.

Step 2: Click icon your profile and click Edit profile.

Step 3: Click Profile.

Step 4: Click Change picture.

Step 5: Choose a picture file on your computer. After the download finished, then click Save.

Change your contact info.

Step 1: Go to your Hotmail (Outlook) account.

Step 2: Click icon your profile and click Edit profile.

Step 3: Click Profile.

Step 4: Click Edit under Contact info.

Step 5: You will see the box with many items. You can change it: Birthday, Anniversary, Significant other, Home phone, Personal mobile, Home fax, Personal email, Country/region. When you enter your information done, you click Save.

Change Work info.

Step 1: Go to your Hotmail (Outlook) account.

Step 2: Click icon your profile and click Edit profile.

Step 3: Click Profile.

Step 4: Click Edit under Work info.

Step 5: You will see the box and enter change information: Job title, Company, Work phone, Work pager, Work fax, Work email, Country/region. Then click Save.
