How to Send and Receive Hotmail from Your Gmail Account

Do you want to access your Hotmail inbox with your Gmail account? Today we will show you how to send and get Hotmail emails from your Gmail account.

Step 1: Firstly, sign in your Gmail account and choose "Settings".

Step 2: Click  "Accounts and Import".

Step 3: Click "Add a POP3 email account you own". 

Step 4: Enter your Hotmail ID in the tab "Email address", and then click “Next Step”.

Step 5: Enter your username and password for your Windows Live account. Make sure that these following settings are right.

If you want to have your messages in your Hotmail account, choose “Leave a copy of retrieved messages on the server”option.

You could save one copy version on your computer and maintain incoming messages. Click “Add Account” to continue.

Note: You must go to your Windows Live account to take POP Server and Port because each Windows Live account has a different POP setting. Example:

Step 6: Click “Yes, I want to be able to send mail as…”. This Hotmail will enable you to send email from Hotmail or other Windows Live accounts, click “Next Step”.

Step 7: You could verify or change your name associated with your email. If you want your newly added account could reply to one specific email address, you could write that email address in “Reply-to address”. Then click "Next Step".

Step 8: Click "Send Verification". Gmail will send a confirmation email to your Hotmail or Live account.

Step 9: After getting a verification code, enter it and click "Verify"

Step 10: To send an email from your Hotmail account, Click “From” and choose your Hotmail account to write a new email.

---> Now you could both send and receive an email from your Hotmail account using your Gmail account!
